6. Set the tilt lever in the “TILT”
position, and raise the outboard
motor to any of the 18°, 34° and
58° tilt position.
7. To return the outboard motor to the
normal “RUN” position, move the
tilt lever away from you until it
stops, tilt the outboard motor
slightly, then lower the outboard
motor slowly.
• Make sure water comes out from
the cooling water check hole.
• When the outboard motor is
tilted up, cruise at low speed.
• Never operate in reverse when
the outboard motor is tilted up.
The outboard motor will rise up,
causing an accident.
