Battery
Servicing Your Honda
Make sure the ignition switch is OFF.
Removal
The battery is located in the battery box on
the left side, below the rear seat.
Remove the rear seat (page ).
Remove the bolt ( ), collar ( ) and
battery holder ( ).
Remove the left rear cowl (page ).
Disconnect the negative ( ) terminal
lead ( ) from the battery first, then
disconnect the positive ( ) terminal
lead ( ).
Pull the battery ( ) out of the battery
box.
