Do not pull the starter grip while the engine is running. The starter
could be damaged.
Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return
it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
Return the starter grip gently to
the engine.
Turn the engine switch to the
ON position.
Push the starter button until the
engine starts. After the engine
starts, disconnect the power
cord from the electrical outlet,
and then from the switch box.
Do not operate the starter for more than 1 minute. If the engine
fails to start, release the button and allow the starter to cool for 15
minutes before operating it again.
Pull the starter grip lightly until
you feel resistance, then pull
briskly in the direction of the
arrow as shown.
Turn the engine switch to the
ON position.
