STARTING THE ENGINE
2. Set the control lever in the
NEUTRAL position.
The engine does not start unless the
control lever is set in the
NEUTRAL position.
(Normal Key without START/
STOP switch type)
3. Turn the ignition switch key to the
START position until the engine
starts.
When the engine starts, release the
key, allowing it to return to the ON
position.
Go to step 5.
• Do not turn the ignition switch
key to the START position while
the engine is running.
(Normal Key with START/STOP
switch type)
3. Insert the key to the power switch
and turn it to the ON position.
4. Push the start/stop switch.
(Honda Smart Key type)
3. Turn the power switch to the right.
