Installation
Installation
If a number of flush-mounted actuators are to
be installed in installation boxes located next to
or above one another (connected or not
connected), the total switched current must not
exceed 16 A.
The control input is switched with mains
voltage. Only pushbuttons and cables that are
rated for mains voltage may be used!
Installation may only take place in normal
commercial switch boxes (device boxes) in
accordance with DIN 49073-1.
The maximum line length of the push button
cables may not be larger than 30 m.
Only connect push buttons at the input, not
switches! This would make the device
malfunction!
There are no controls on the device itself. A
push button must be connected (even if it is
only temporary) for direct teaching-in without
the HomeMatic Central Control Unit (see sec.
“6.2 Teaching-in” on page 45).
The installation of the described actuator is shown in
the following connection diagram:
•
Connect the actuator to L and N to obtain a power
supply.
•
Phase for push buttons is provided at the push
button input.
•
Route the switched phase to the consumer.
