Although the frequency of appliance servicing and maintenance will depend on the use and the type of installation, a qualified 
service technician should perform an appliance check-up annually. storage of an appliance indoors is permissible only if the cylinder 
is disconnected and removed from the appliance. 

Note:

 

The use of a vinyl fire table cover is highly recommended to keep your fire table and burner looking new and ensure extended 

trouble-free operation.

MAINTeNANCe TASkS

Burner Assembly

1

Remove the decorative glass and examine the burner. Vacuum and wipe out as needed. Use 
caution when cleaning these areas.

Inspect for warping and corrosion. Repair as necessary.

Check the hose connecting the LP gas cylinder to ensure it is not damaged. Replace as necessary.

Verify air shutter area is clean.

Burner Ignition 
& Operation

1

Verify all gas connections are tight and leak-free.

Clean burner top, inspect for plugged ports, corrosion, or deterioration. Replace burner if necessary.

Inspect for flame problems.

Verify air shutter is clear of dust and debris and is in the correct position for the gas type being used.

Inspect the orifice for soot, dirt, or corrosion.

Verify manifold and inlet pressures. Adjust regulator as required.

Inspect Igniter & 
Thermocoupler for 
Buildup/Corrosion

Clean ignition electrode with fine-grit emery cloth.

Remove buildup from thermocouple with compressed air and a damp rag.

Gas Hose & Regulator

1

The gas hose with regulator supplied with appliance must be used for LP installations. The 
replacement must be those specified by the appliance manufacturer.
