     1. Carefully place burner assembly into enclosure. secure control valve to          

 

         control panel with two (2) supplied Phillips head screws. Install key onto 

 

         valve stem.
     2. Carefully uncoil thermocouple and connect to control valve. Hand-tighten 

 

         first, then securely tighten (1/2 turn) with 10 mm wrench. Damage to the 

 

         thermocouple and/or loose connections will cause operation issues. 

         

Note: 

This step is not applicable to the CF-12 burners.

     3. evenly spread glass media over burner surface. Glass media 

CANNOT

 be 

 

         present inside igniter wind guard opening. Glass media 

CAN

 cover ignition 

 

         wind guard cover. Remove cardboard cover from inside ignition wind guard.

f. set-up for natural gas: cfp1224 & cfp20 burners 

(see insert for cf-12 burner)

     1. Using adjustable wrenches, tighten all connections. This step serves as 

 

         a final safety measure as all fittings come tightened from the factory.
     2. Using adjustable wrenches, remove the propane regulator hose and 

 

         flare fitting adapter. 
     3. Using 11 mm wrench, remove low-rate bypass tube from control valve.
     4. With a flat-blade screwdriver, remove propane valve orifice and replace 

 

         with natural gas orifice. If no valve orifice is required, low-rate bypass 

 

         tube can be reinstalled using 11 mm wrench.
     5. Using adjustable wrenches, remove burner flex-line from burner orifice. 

 

         Remove the propane burner orifice installed in the burner, and install 

 

         supplied natural gas orifice.
     6. Loosen air shutter with Phillips head screwdriver and fully close air 

 

         shutter. Tighten screw when air shutter is properly positioned.
     7. Using adjustable wrenches, connect burner flex-line to natural gas 

 

         burner orifice and tighten securely. 
     8. Carefully place burner assembly into enclosure. secure control valve to 

 

         control panel with two (2) supplied Phillips head screws. Install key onto 

 

         valve stem.
     9. Carefully uncoil thermocouple and connect to control valve. Hand-tighten
