Warning: Do not handle the cooktop when it is switched on, when it is hot, when dishes
are placed on the hob or the plug is plugged in.
Note:
The first time you turn it on, you may notice a faint smoke and a faint odour. This is
normal. Smoke and odour disappear with use.
Warning: The cooktop heats up during use and stays hot also after use. Do not touch the
hot surface. There is a risk of severe burns.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket and allow it to
cool down completely before any cleaning and maintenance.
Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, the power cable and plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or other similar
substances to clean parts of the appliance. The surface finish could be heavily damaged.
Wash the outer surface of the cooktop with a soft sponge, slightly dampened in warm water.
Wipe dry.
If the surface of the cooktop is more dirty, soak the sponge in warm water with a little kitchen
detergent and squeeze well. Wipe the outer surface and then wipe with a dry cloth.
Storage
Make sure that the appliance is cool and clean before storing.
Store the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the reach of children or pets.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.
