If DHCP is disabled, the following network parameters must be configured: 
 

1.

 

Enter the IP address of the OmniTouch 5.7e by pressing the [Edit] button to the right of 
the “IP Address” edit box.   

 

The format of the IP address is a numeric address entered as four numbers separated by 
periods.  Press the [OK] button when complete. 

 
2.

 

Enter the Port of the OmniTouch 5.7e by pressing the [Edit] button to the right of the 
“Port” edit box. 

 

The Port is used to remotely (from outside the network) update the OmniTouch 5.7e 
touchscreen using HAI Automation Studio.  To remotely access the touchscreen, the Port 
for each touchscreen must be different and must be forwarded in the router to the IP 
address of the respective touchscreen.  Port numbers range from 0 to 65535. 

 
3.

 

Enter the Subnet Mask of the network by pressing the [Edit] button to the right of the 
“Subnet Mask” edit box. 

 

The format of the Subnet Mask is a numeric address entered as four numbers separated by 
periods.  Press the [OK] button when complete. 

 
4.

 

Enter the Default Gateway of the network by pressing the [Edit] button to the right of the 
“Default Gateway” edit box. 
 
The format of the Default Gateway is a numeric address entered as four numbers separated 
by periods.  Press the [OK] button when complete. 

 

5.

 

Enter the DNS Server address on the network by pressing the [Edit] button to the right of 
the “DNS Server” edit box. 

 

The format of the DNS Server is a numeric address entered as four numbers separated by 
periods.  Press the [OK] button when complete. 

 
After all network parameters have been entered or confirmed, press the “Controller” tab to 
configure the connection information for the HAI controller or press the [OK] button at the 
bottom of the page to save the settings and connect to the configured HAI controller.
