Lifting station Solestar
Set up the lifting plant horizontally on a level surface. To
ensure a low noise level during operation, the gap be-
tween the lifting plant and the house wall must be at least
5 mm.
Intake:
Connect the drain hoses (8 mm and 10 mm) of the water
softening plant with clamps to the corresponding hose
connections in the lid of the lifting plant.
Discharge:
Firstly, the pressure supplied connector, consisting of the
elbow, non-return valve and 19mm hose (preassembled)
must be screwed into the discharge port of the pump.
The connections should be sealed finger-tight with Teflon
tape (do not use hemp!) and should be fitted without us-
ing tools.
At the pressure end, a normal commercially-available
brine-resistant 19mm (3/4“) hose – should be connected
to the pump.
Here, attention should be paid to the careful fixing of the
hose by means of a hose clip.
Lay the pressure pipe constantly rising (ideally, vertical ini-
tially, then horizontal) in a loop above the backflush level
of the public sewer network.
This prevents sewage being forced back through the pres-
sure pipe into the collecting tank of the lifting plant in the
event of a rise in the water level in the sewer network,
e.g. in the event of heavy rain. Lead the pressure pipe
directly to the nearest main outlet. Check all connections
for tightness once more.
In order to protect the drinking water, the backflush pipe
for the water softener system must be connected to the
free feed connection of the pumping unit. (8mm or 10mm
push-in connector).
The overflow connection from the water softener unit
(13mm or 20mm) should also be connected to the corre-
sponding hose connection points of the pump unit, also
using hose clips.
The input and outflow hoses are not supplied with the
pumping unit.
