To connect an optional air vent pipe, proceed as shown:
The air vent pipe can have a diameter of DN 32 or DN 40. This prevents moisture problems in a pre-wall installation.

Route the pressure pipe with a steady rise (ideally first vertically, then horizontally) in a loop above the backflow level of
the public sewer.

This prevents waste water from being forced back
through the pressure pipe into the tank of the disposal
unit if the water level in the sewer rises, e.g. during heavy
rain. Route the pressure pipe directly to the next collec-
tion drain. Check all connections and joints again for leaks.
It must not be possible for the pressure pipe to freeze.
We recommend applying sufficient insulation to the entire
pressure pipe. According to DIN, all connected sanitary
facilities must be located in the same room as the unit.
