15.2 Replace of blades
W A R N I N G
When working on the blades always wear protective gloves!
Injuries to the hands from sharp cutting edges!
1 Spring 2 Blade 3 Gib 4 Locking screw 5 Planer shaft
 Unlock eccentric locks and unfold planer tables like shown on the above picture
 Loosen the fixing screw (4)
 The springs (1) push out the blade (2) automatically
 Disassemble the blade (2) and the gib (3)
 Clean all parts and planer shaft thoroughly
 Insert the new blade and the gib
 Press blades down and tighten with locking screws
 Blade must not protrude more than 1,1 mm!
 Recommendation: Set distance to 0.7 - 0.8 mm
 Do not use blades with a height of less than 17 mm because low clamping surface
15.3 Cleaning
After each workshift the machine has to be cleaned. Remove chips etc. with a suitable tool. Do
not remove them by hand (cutting injury!). Remove dust as well.
N O T I C E
The usage of certain solutions containing ingredients damaging metal surfaces as
well as the use of scrubbing agents will damage the machine surface!
Clean the machine surface with a wet cloth soaked in a mild solution
15.4 Disposal
Do not dispose the machine in residual waste. Contact your local authorities for
information regarding the available disposal options. When you buy at your local dealer
for a replacement unit, the latter is obliged to exchange your old.
