and position one lever (6) at any of the 1-5 hole, the other at any of A-E holes, thus the feed rod
will rotate. If selector (6) is pushed upward, a longitudinal feed can be obtained. If pushing
downward, across feed will be obtained.
D. Thread cutting operation
The direction of thread cutting is controlled by the feed director (6). By operation feed selector
handle and feed / thread selector handle (6) according to thread pitch, the leadscrew rotate. Op-
erate downward the thread cutting engagement lever (23), it should be engaged with leadscrew,
thus the longitudinal travel of thread cutting feed.
