Replacement of change gears
There are
40
different thread pitches for Metric and inch thread.
This, by setting the selector switch feed (

) can be selected.
In addition, the setting of the change gears required.
In order to obtain the desired pitch of the table, in advance, the respective gears combinations
have to be rebuilt in the change gear.
Set the feed lever (

) to the neutral position.
The lever for threading (

) is also turned off.
The 2 thumbscrews on the change gears protective
cover, unscrew and remove them.

The mother front of the main wheel bearing easily
solved.
The smaller side wheels can now be solved with an
Allen key.
After replacing the little change gears are tightened.
The main gear is set up with the support plate
between the two little change gears.
The nut on the mounting plate and the nut on the
main wheel bearings now tighten the same time.
