12.4.1
Adjusting the saw blade guide unit
N O T I C E
The saw blade guide unit serves to protect the unused part of the saw blade from
excessive stress. It is best to keep the blade guide as close to the workpiece as
possible.
Adjust the saw blade guide
unit by loosening the
adjustment knob on the blade
guide arm (2) and sliding it
towards - or away from - the
guide plate (4).

The saw blade can be removed by loosening the blade tensioning knob of the saw blade.
12.4.2
Fastening the workpiece stop
The workpiece stop (4)
supports you when you want
to cut consecutive pieces of
the same size.
Fasten workpiece stop:
a) Fasten the workpiece stop
(4) to the vice base by
inserting it into the provided
threaded hole and tighten it
firmly.
b) Push the stop bracket (5)
onto the workpiece stop and
fix it by tightening the
adjusting screw.

The metal band saw body is lifted and lowered at the axle and bearing connection at the upper
part of the mitre plate. Ensure that the bearing nut is always firmly seated to hold the bandsaw
body in place while moving it up and down with the handle (see illustrations below)..
