Inserting the Inflow Tube Set
(See Figure 5-9, Tube set elements) The inflow tube set consists of three tube sec-
tions, a Y-connector

Open outer packaging
1. Inflow tube set - To be carried out by non-sterile nurse:
Open outer packaging of the inflow tube set.
A sterile nurse then removes the inner tube set package and opens it.
Connect to hysteroscope
2. To be carried out by sterile nurse:
Keep the blue Luer lock connector

in the sterile area and hand the tube
end with the bag spikes
