The freezer is not operating

Check that the plug is in the socket, the switch is on, the fuse is in-tact and use a
known working item to ensure the plug socket is live.

A gurgling or trickling noise can be heard

This is NOT a fault. It is simply the coolant moving around in the circuit.

The compressor is noisy when operating

Check that the appliance is vertical. Use the adjustable front feet to achieve this.
If the floor is unsteady or hollow, the vibration noise can be reduced by placing a
sheet of 10-15mm plywood underneath.

The freezer is not cold enough

Check that the door is sealed on all 4 edges when closed.
Check that the thermostat knob has not been moved accidentally.
Insufficient air flow space has been provided around the appliance.

The freezer is too cold

Check that the thermostat is set correctly. Move it towards 1 to increase internal
temperature.
