Retract the mechanical plunger.
Hold the tool with one hand on the deadman’s handle, and the other hand on the
carrying handle.
Operate the deadman’s handle to retract the hydraulic plunger.
Lift the deadman’s handle slightly to take the weight off the locking mechanism.
Push the mechanical lock (A) to the left or the right to release the locking mechanism.
Lower the mechanical plunger (B) to the desired height.
Release the mechanical lock. Make sure that the mechanical plunger is locked in one of
the grooves.
Rotate the carrying handle.
The carrying handle can be rotated around the cylinder between two lock positions.
Never set the carrying handle in an unlocked
position. The mechanical plunger may extend out
of the cylinder if the locking mechanism is not
engaged.
Push the lock button (A) to release the locking mechanism.
Rotate the carrying handle to the next locking position. The locking positions are
located 180
°
apart. The carrying handle should never be left in the unlocked position.
Release the lock button to lock the carrying handle in position.

The 4360 ram is not rated for pulling. This tool
should not be used for any pulling operations.
