Driving and Operating
Fuel for Diesel Engines
Only use commercially available
diesel fuel meeting the requirements
of Euro standard EN 590 to operate
diesel engines. The use of biodiesel
containing up to 5% fatty acid
methyl ester ("FAME"), also known
as "B5", is also permitted provided
that the FAME complies with Euro
standard EN 14214 and the
resultant B5 blend complies with
Euro standard EN 590. Do not use
marine diesel oils, heating oils or
entirely or partially plant-based
diesel fuels, such as rape seed oil
or bio diesel containing more than
5% FAME.

Use only biodiesel blends with a
maximum of 5% FAME and which
meet Euro standard EN 590.
Purchasing your fuel from a
reputable fuel retailer may reduce
the risk of purchasing fuel with

more than 5% FAME or fuel which
contains abnormal fuel properties.
Using a biodiesel that does not
have the certification referred to
above, or has FAME content
exceeding 5%, may cause
serious damage to your vehicle
(including engine failure).
Damage attributable to the use of
non-certified biodiesel is not
covered by your New Vehicle
Warranty. In no event will GM
Holden be responsible or bear
any liability for any damage or
loss that may arise in connection
with the use of any fuel that does
not meet this specification.
Filling the Tank

fuel pump.

Turn off the engine when
refuelling.

Keep sparks, flames, and
smoking materials away
from fuel.

Do not leave the fuel pump
unattended.

while pumping fuel.

Keep children away from the
fuel pump and never let
children pump fuel.
