4. Keep the iron and its power cord away from children
younger than 8 when the iron is connected to the mains
or when it cools down.
5. Caution! Risk of burns! Iron surfaces become
very hot during operation.
6. The iron must be attended at all times when connected
to the mains.
7. Always disconnect the iron from the mains before filling
the water reservoir or pouring out any water remaining
in the reservoir.
8. Use the iron on a stable and flat surface. Always place
the iron on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.
9. When the iron is put on the base, make sure that the
base is situated on a stable surface.
10. Do not operate the iron if it has been dropped and
evidence of damage or leakage is visible.
11. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, a service centre or a qualified individual, so as
to avoid hazard.
12. Read the entire manual before you start using the appliance.
13. Do not operate the iron when it is damaged or after it malfunctions.
