The „Green Dot” trademark located on the packaging means 

that the entity, for whom the product was manufactured, 

made financial contributions in construction and operation 

of the national recovery and recycling system for packaging 

waste in accordance with the principles resulting from 

the laws of Portugal and the European Union concerning 

packaging and packaging waste.
 This symbol means that the product must not be disposed 

of  with other household waste. Polish law prohibits, under 

penalty of a fine, combining waste electrical and electronic 

equipment with other wastes.

It is possible to prevent potential negative consequences 

for the environment and human health, which could 

otherwise arise from inappropriate handling of waste 

electronic equipment, if the product is disposed of properly.
CE Marking on a product is a manufacturer’s declaration 

that the product complies with the essential requirements 

of the relevant European health, safety and environmental 

protection legislation, in practice by many of the so-called 

Product Directives.

EU, referred to as RoHS directive. The purpose of the 

Directive is the approximation of the laws of the member 

states concerning the restriction of use of hazardous 

substances in electrical and electronic equipment, 

and the contribution towards the protection of human 

health and the environmentally sound recovery and 

disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment. 

RoHS Directive applies from 3 January 2013. New electrical 

and electronic equipment put on the market shall not 

contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, 

polybrominated biphenyls or polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

The appliance is intended for domestic use only.
