11. TROUBLE SHOOTING
If any irregularities are found during operation of the appliance, read the table below to
identify the cause and to find a solution to the problems.

Solution
During baking, smoke
is emitted from the vent
grate.
Some ingredients stick to
the heating elements or its
surroundings. If this problem
occurs at first start-up, this
means that oil residues are
present on the surface of the
heating element.
Disconnect the bread maker and
clean the heating element, taking
care not to burn. After first use,
dry and open the lid.
The bottom crust is too
thick.
The bread was hot and
remained in the mould for too
long, losing too much water.
Quickly remove bread from
the mould without sustaining
temperature.
It is very difficult to
remove bread from the
mould.
The stirrer sticks to the shaft in
the baking mould.
After removing bread, pour hot
water in the mould and immerse
the stirrer for 10 minutes and then
remove and clean it.
