The device is able to
overcome some obstacles, including not very steep driveways,
treshold bars, carpets, wires, and connectors between surfaces such as tiles and
panels. It is important that they are not higher than a few mm.
If the docking station is covered or unplugged from the power grid it may happen that the
robot will drive all over the room until it's battery runs out.
If the robot does not reach the docking station on its own, lift it gently and connect
its front loading contacts to the docking station.
AUTOMATIC CLEANING STARTED MANUALLY
The appliance switches on and off with the I/O power switch (16). If the robot is
switched on or docked in the station simply press the button (3) or the [AUTO] button
on the remote control to start cleaning. Default working time is set to 99 minutes. It
can be adjusted using button (2) and (5). The device passes through the operating
modes, vacuums the room, and then cleans alongside the walls. When the cleaning is
complete, the robot will return to the docking station. You can also force the device to
return to the charging station by pressing the blue button on the remote control.
You can choose from [SLOW] or [FAST] work. If an area is particularly dusty you can
choose [SPOT] cleaning mode.
You can turn off the device instantly using the red power button built into the
remote control. It is a so-called emergency switch off. It is useful when you need to
quickly stop cleaning (spilled fluid, malfunction or other hazards. To activate the robot again,
press the physical power switch I/O (16) and turn it off and on again.
MANUAL VACUUMING
The cleaning robot can be also operated manually. When you turn on the power, you
can activate manual cleaning by pressing the [forward] button and control it with the
[right] and [left] remote control buttons. [Back] button stops the device and cleaning
mechanism. You can choose from [SLOW] or [FAST] work. If an area is particularly
dusty you can choose [SPOT] cleaning mode. At any time you can order the device to
return to docking station by pressing a blue button situated on the remote control.
BATTERY EXCHANGE IN THE REMOTE CONTROL
To exchange batteries in the remote control open the flap that secures the battery
compartment on the back of the remote control. Gently take out the 2 batteries placed
inside. Correctly insert two new AAA 1,5V
batteries. Replace the flap that secures
the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. When the batteries run
out, they should be replaced with new ones. Do not short-circuit the power poles.
Batteries should be placed with the correct polarity. In case of improper use of the
batteries, they might explode or spill. The batteries should not be situated near heat
sources, thrown into fire or left on the sun. Do not dip the batteries in the water.
Make sure the batteries are dry and clean. Only batteries of the same type, equivalent
or according to manufacturer's instructions can be used. The batteries have to be
