4. SAFETY RULES
—SAFETY—
Read these guidelines carefully. Not following them may be dangerous or
illegal.
—IMPORTANT SAFETY REMARKS—
This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old, persons with
reduced physical or mental abilities and inexperienced or lacking
a technical knowledge persons only under supervision or after
instruction of using the device in a safe manner, understanding the
hazards connected with using the device. This device is not a toy.
Cleaning and user maintenance can not be made by children without
supervision. The device should be charged only with the power supply
supplied by the manufacturer. The unit may only be supplied with a low
voltage current corresponding to the markings on the device.
Disconnect the plug from the socket-outlet before cleaning or
maintaining the appliance. If the charger or its power cord got damaged,
the charger must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, service
center or qualified personnel. Use the charger only to charge the battery
SL-2200 (2200 mAh Li-ion). Do not use to charge other batteries,
especially those not intended for recharging. While charging, place the
product in a well-ventilated place.
—DO NOT RISK—
This appliance is intended for household use and is not suitable for cleaning
industrial and open areas (terraces, balconies, etc.). Do not use the device in
places where the use of electrical equipment is prohibited and where it may
cause interference or danger. Device must not be switched on or used near
flammable materials. Do not use without the filter and dust container on. Do
not cover any slots – it may cause overheating and damage. Do not clean hot
or glowing objects (ash from the fireplace, stove, cigarette, matches, etc.) – it
may cause damage or even fire. Do not clean plants, people and clothes while
wearing.
—WATER AND OTHER LIQUIDS—
Protect the device from water and other liquids. It can influence work and the
life span of electronic components. Avoid high humidity areas like steamed up
kitchen or bathroom. It may cause dampness in the device which leads to
damage of the device or, in extreme cases, an electric shock.
