11. Before using the device, remove all packaging materials. Keep the packaging
materials away from children as they entail the risk of being swallowed and
consequential suffocation.
12. Never use the device if the safety shield is damaged.
13. The device must be standing on a dry, level, and stable surface.
14. Never try to move an operating device. Turn off the device and disconnect it from the
power supply source before moving it.
15. Always keep a distance of at least 50 cm between the device and other objects (drapes,
walls, etc).
16. Never cover up the device.
17. Electrical shock hazard! Never repair the device without assistance. If the device is
malfunctioning, always entrust its repairs to a qualified professional.
18. When removing the plug from the outlet, never pull it by the cord and never wind the cable
around the device.
19. Never use accessories, which are not provided by the manufacturer, or risk user safety
and damage to the device. Use original accessories only.
20. Connect the plug to an easily accessible outlet so you can quickly disconnect the device
from the power source in the event of an emergency. In order to disconnect the device
from the power supply completely, remove the plug from the wall outlet. Use the plug as
a disconnecting device.
21. If you are using an extension cord or a multi-outlet, they must support the power of
the device.
22. Turn off the device before disconnecting it from the power source.
23. If the power supply cable is overheating, turn off the device and disconnect it from the
power source.
24. Protect the device, power supply cable, and plug from dust, direct sunrays, dripping water,
and splashing water.
25. Let the device cool down completely before putting it away after use.
26. Never use the device near an open window. Rain may produce an electrical shock hazard.
Electrical safety
27. Before connecting the device to a power source, make sure that the nominal voltage
according to the rating plate of the device corresponds to your network voltage.
28. Do not use the device if the cable or plug is damaged, if the device is malfunctioning, or if
the device is damaged in any other way.
29. Protect the power supply cable from damage. Do not hang it over sharp edges and do
not bend it. Keep the power supply cable away from hot surfaces and open flames. Make
sure that no one can tug it or trip over it by accident.
30. Never remove the casing. Do not place your fingers or other objects inside the device and
do not cover up the ventilation ports.
31. Protect the device from effects of high temperatures. Do not place it near open flames or
sources of heat such as ovens or radiators.
• Please remember that a high level of humidity may favour development of biological
organisms in the environment.
