Use the diagram below to familiarize yourself with how to connect the switch harness, servos (available separately), and the 4 cell
battery holder to your 92124 RX500 5-Channel receiver.
1) Install four fresh 'AA' Alkaline batteries into the battery holder, making sure that the polarity is correct. The direction that each
battery should be installed is molded into the battery holder (+ Positive and - Negative).

1) Remove the battery cover on the back of the transmitter by pushing down firmly on the battery cover in the direction of the arrow.
2) Install four fresh 'AA' Alkaline batteries into the battery tray, making sure that the polarity is correct. The direction that each battery
should be installed is molded into the battery tray (+ Positive and - Negative).
3) Slide the battery cover back onto the transmitter and push it up firmly until it 'clicks' closed.

To power the receiver with a servo plugged into channel slot 5, you will need to purchase an Airtronics Y-Harness P/N 477021
(available separately). Plug the Y-Harness into channel slot 5, then plug the servo into one side of the Y-Harness and the switch
harness into the other side of the Y-Harness. If you will not be using a servo plugged into channel slot 5, a Y-Harness is not necessary.
Simply plug the switch harness into channel slot 5.
If you prefer to use a rechargeable Ni-Cd or Ni-MH receiver battery, please see the options on the next page. The receiver
can be powered by a 4.8 volt (4 cell) or a 6.0 volt (5 cell) Ni-Cd or Ni-MH battery of desired capacity.
If you prefer to use rechargeable Ni-Cd or Ni-MH transmitter batteries, please see the options on the next page.

If you use an optional rechargeable Ni-MH receiver battery pack to power
the receiver, a switch harness with separate charge cord is available
separately, allowing you to charge the battery pack without unplugging it or
removing it from your aircraft. For more information, see page 11.
WARNING
The receiver’s nominal input voltage is 4.8 volts to 6.0 volts. If your receiver battery's nominal voltage rating is greater
than 6.0 volts, you must use a voltage regulator plugged between the switch harness and the receiver battery to drop your battery's
voltage to 6.0 volts. If you do not use a voltage regulator, damage to the receiver could result. We recommend a switching type
regulator and it must be able to handle the amperage demands of the servos used in your aircraft.
