If you haven‘t set time and date yet, please refer to the chapter
„Setting time & date“ in this manual.
First turn on your meter by pressing the S-button. You enter the
start up mode. To enter the settings of further features, press
and hold the scroll wheel for more than 3 seconds. While holding
the scroll wheel pressed, “00” appears on the display and in the
bottom line “UNIT”.
Setting the clock:
As soon as the seconds timer is visible on the display, you can
release the scroll wheel. The second timer is now activated and
the meter won‘t turn off automatically, as soon as no other mode
is selected or a test- or check strip is inserted.
Caution: This additional function requires a higher energy con-
sumption. You can switch off the clock by pushing the S-button.
You will then come back to start up mode and can power off the
meter by pushing the S-button again.
Setting alarms:
• After having set the clock, you can set one out
of four possible alarms.
• The symbols „OFF“ (not activated) or „ON“ (ac-
tivated) show the current alarm setting. Select
your desired setting by turning the scroll wheel
and save the settings by pushing the wheel.
• Now the last two digits (for minutes) start to
flash. Turn the scroll wheel to adjust the minutes and save your
settings by pushing the scroll wheel.
