POWERFUL OPERATION

Used for quickly cooling or heating the room.
Begin Air Conditioner operation before performing this procedure.

To use POWERFUL Operation

Press the POWERFUL button (Fig. 5 

L

).

To stop POWERFUL Operation

Press the POWERFUL button (Fig. 5 

L

) again.

Normal operation begins.

About the POWERFUL Operation

Cooling/Dry

Using the maximum power, it cools the room to the approximate set temperature at one stroke.

● 

Powerful Operation mode is automatically turned off when the room temperature has fallen to the set temperature or when 20 
minutes have passed after setting the POWERFUL Operation mode. However, it does not turn off automatically within a certain 
time of setting the POWERFUL Operation mode.

Heating

Using the maximum power, it heats the room to the approximate set temperature at one stroke.

Powerful Operation mode is automatically turned off when the room temperature has risen to the set temperature or when 20 
minutes have passed after setting the POWERFUL Operation mode. However, it does not turn off automatically within a certain 
time of setting the POWERFUL Operation mode.

Wind direction and air

 ow rate are automatically set in POWERFUL Operation mode. Wind direction can be changed through 

the wind direction adjustment button.

● 

POWERFUL Operation and ECONOMY Operation modes can’t be set simultaneously.
The function whose button on the remote controller is last pressed will be given priority.

● 

POWERFUL Operation and OUTDOOR UNIT LOW NOISE Operation modes can’ be set simultaneously.
The function whose button on the remote controller is last pressed will be given priority.

ECONOMY OPERATION

Begin Air Conditioner operation before performing this procedure.

To Use the ECONOMY Operation

Press the ECONOMY button (Fig.5 

G

).

The ECONOMY indicator Lamp (green) (Fig. 3

) will light.

ECONOMY operation begins.

To Stop the ECONOMY Operation

Press the ECONOMY button (Fig.5 

G

) again.

The ECONOMY Indicator Lamp (green) (Fig. 3 

7

) will go out.

Normal operation begins.

About ECONOMY Operation

At the maximum output, ECONOMY Operation is approximately 70% of normal air conditioner operation for cooling and heating.

● 

If the room is not cooled (or heated) well during ECONOMY operation, select normal operation.

● 

Once air conditioner operation is stopped. Normal operation begins when the indoor unit is turned on again.

● 

During the monitor period in the AUTO mode, the air conditioner operation will not change to ECONOMY operation even if 
ECONOMY operation is selected by pressing the ECONOMY operation button.

● 

POWERFUL Operation and ECONOMY Operation modes can’ be set simultaneously.
The function whose button on the remote controller is last pressed will be given priority.
