Controlling the TV
This remote control is preprogrammed to operate Hitachi TV. The shaded buttons shown below can be used to
control the TV.
Using the remote control when the TV mode is selected
Some buttons and functions described in this page may not be available depending on the TV model. z

Power On ( )
Press to turn on the TV from standby mode.

Power Standby ( )
Press to turn off the TV to standby mode.

Device Select ( TV/DVD/STB )
Press these buttons to select the device (TV, DVD
or STB) to be controlled by this remote control. The
selected button will light up to display the selected
mode.

Volume Up/Down ( / )
Press to adjust the volume.

Menu ( )
Press to enter or exit from the TV menu.

Up/Down/Left/Right Cursor ( / / / )
Press to select or adjust the desired item on the
menu.

Press to select the desired picture mode.

Recall ( )
Press to show input signal status.

Mute ( )
Press to mute or restore the volume.

Press to return to previous menu.

AUTO
Press to adjust the picture automatically in RGB
mode.

RGB
Press to display RGB input source.
When the TV has no RGB input signal and RGB is
pressed, the TV automatically enters power save mode.

To exit power save mode
1 Press and hold TV , and press 1 follow by 2 .
2 Press HDMI1 .
TV enters HDMI mode. „

Press to select the desired picture format.
