Check Emergency Engine Stop Switch:
•
If a fire breaks out, failure to release pressurized air in-
side the hydraulic tank will escalate fire, hampering fire
fighting.
•
Check the emergency engine stop switch function
every 250 hours:
1) Start the engine and run it at slow Idle.
2) Turn the emergency engine stop switch to the
EMERG. STOP position.
3) Confirm that both engines stop and that pressur-
ized air inside the hydraulic oil tank is released (a
hissing sound should be heard).
•
If any abnormalities are found, be sure to repair them
before operating the machine.
Check Heat Shields:
•
Damaged or missing heat shield may lead to fires.
•
Damaged or missing heat shields must be repaired or
replaced before operating the machine.

BEWARE OF EXHAUST FUMES
•
Prevent asphyxiation. Engine exhaust fumes can cause
sickness or death.
•
If you must operate in a building, be sure there is ade-
quate ventilation. Either use an exhaust pipe extension
to remove the exhaust fumes or open doors and win-
dows to bring enough outside air into the area.
