Customizing /boot/grub/grub.conf
(For EFI boot, /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.conf)
Set the following in grub.conf:

Comment out "splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz".
When "
splashimage=(hd0,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
" is commented
out for EFI boot in RHEL 6.5, however, the login prompt will not
appear on the remote console. If you use the remote console, move
the string before the line "
title Red Hat Enterprise Linux
(2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64)
" without commenting out the string. In
