SLEEP  FUNCTION

SLEEP  FUNCTION

You  can  program  the  system  to  switch  itself  off  after  a  set  period  of  time.   
1.        Press  the  SLEEP  button  on  the  remote  control.  “Sleep  90  min”  will  appear  in  the  display.   
2.        Press  the  SLEEP  button  to  cycle  through  the  sleep  time  options:   

3.        When  your  desired  sleep  time  appears  in  the  display,  release  the  button  and  the  sleep  timer  is  activated. 

The  “second”  digits  of  the  clock  will  change  to  display  “S#”  where  “S1”  represents  “10  minutes”and  so 
on.

4.        When  the  sleep  time  arrives,  the  unit  will  switch  off.  To  turn  the  sleep  function  off,  press  the  SLEEP  button 

again.  The  display  will  show  “Sleep  OFF”  and  the  “S#”  will  revert  back  to  show  the  “second”.

5.        The  sleep  timer  status  can  be  checked  by  using  the  DISPLAY/INFO  button.

Recording  from  radio  or  CD

1.        Open  the  cassette  button  door  and  press  the                button  to  open  the  cassette  compartment.
2.      Insert  the  cassette  tape  into  the  compartment  with  the  full  reel  on  the  left  hand  side  and  the  open  end 

facing  downwards,  push  the  cassette  well  down  and  then  close  the  door.

3.      To  record  a  DAB  or  FM  broadcast,  press  the  TUNER  button  and  select  your  desired  station,  then  press 

the 

 

button  to  start  recording.

4.        To  record  CD  tracks,  press  the  CD  button,  select  and  play  your  desired  CD  track,  then  press  the 

 

button 

to  start  the  recording.

5.        To  stop  recording,  press  the                button.

Auto  stop

During  play  or  record,  when  the  tape  reaches  its  end,  the  built-in  auto  stop  mechanism  will  stop  the  cassette 
automatically.  When  recording  from  CD  or  tuner,  the  unit  will  stop  recording    but  will  remain  in  CD  or  tuner 
mode.

TIMER  FUNCTION 

You  can  set  the  timer  to  switch  on  the  system  at  your  desired  time  and  listening  mode.
1.      Press  the  TIMER  button  to  toggle  the  timer  function  between  “ON”  and  “OFF”,  the  display  will  show  the 

timer  clock  together  with  “T-ON”  or  “T-OFF”.  During  standby,  the  display  will  show  “TIMER”  if  the  timer  is 
on.

2.      To  set  the  time  when  the  unit  will  switch  on,  press  and  hold  the  TIMER  button  until  “Timer  On  Set” 

appears  in  the  display.  The  “hour”  digits  will  flash. 

3.      Press  the        or          buttons  to  select  the  desired  hour  and  press  the  SELECT  button  to  confirm.  The 

“minute”  digits  will  flash.
