Auto tuning
There are two auto-tuning options: quick scan and full scan. Quick
scan will only search UK DAB Band III channels and full scan will
search all DAB Band III channels. Once the scan has finished, the
radio will select the first alphanumerically found station.
To start a quick scan, press the AUTOTUNE button once, the display
will show “Scan Services Quick Scan” and then a progress bar.(F.3)
To start a full scan, press and hold the AUTOTUNE button until the
display shows “Scan Services Full Scan”. (F.4)
To listen to the stations that have been found, press the I

Manual tuning
1. To select manual tuning, press and hold the DISPLAY/INFO button until the display shows “Manual
Tune”, then press the SELECT button to confirm.(F.5)

I button to move through the DAB channels,

the display will show “5A” to “13F” and the associated
frequency.(F.6) When your radio locates a station group
(ensemble/multiplex) on one of the DAB channels, the name of
the station group will show in the display after a few seconds.
3. To enter the ensemble/multiplex, press the SELECT button. The
display will show the first station in the ensemble/multiplex.

I button to see what stations are present on the
ensemble/multiplex. When you have located your desired
station, press the SELECT button, and at the same time, you
will exit manual tuning mode. All the stations in the
ensemble/multiplex will be added to the station list.

Auto select
You can explore the found stations by pressing the I
◀ ◀
or
▶ ▶
I button. If auto select is “ON”, the station will be
automatically selected when the button is released.
If auto select is “OFF”, you must press the SELECT button when the display shows your desired station.
To toggle auto select “ON” or “OFF”, press and hold the SELECT button until the display shows “Auto Enter
ON” or “Auto Enter OFF”. (F.7)(F.8)
Secondary Services
On some occasions you will see an arrow symbol appeared after the name of the station.(F.9) This
indicates that there are secondary services available. These secondary services are extra services that
relate to the primary station; e.g., a sports station may provide
extra commentaries. The secondary services are inserted directly
after the primary station in the station list.
To select the secondary service, press the SELECT button when the
arrow symbol appears in the display. When the secondary service
ends, the radio will automatically switch back to the primary station.
