ADVANCED DAB DISPLAY MODES
In normal DAB operation, press and hold the DISPLAY/INFO button for longer than 2 seconds to enter the
advanced display mode. When the display shows “Manual Tune”, each time you press the DISPLAY/INFO
button, the display will cycle through the following information:

When you move the system to another part of the country, your stored DAB stations may no longer be
available. If this is the case then you will need to reset your system back to its original factory settings. To
perform a factory reset, please do the following:
1. Switch on the unit and select DAB mode.
2. Press and hold the DISPLAY/INFO button for longer than two seconds. When the display shows “Manual
Tune”, press the DISPLAY/INFO button until “System Reset” is displayed.
3. Press the SELECT button to confirm, the display will first show “System Reset” and then perform a full
scan
for DAB services. If you press the PRESET button when “Press Preset for defaults” appears, DAB
presets 1-4 will automatically be set to default stations if available.
Note: All of your stored DAB & FM presets will be lost once the reset has taken place.

Ensemble/Multiplex (Group name)
The Ensemble/Multiplex is a collection of radio stations that are bundled and transmitted together on the
same frequency. There are national and local multiplexes, local ones contain stations that are specific to that
area.
The time and date will be automatically set by the DAB broadcaster, there is no need to set the clock
manually.
Time and date
DLS
DLS (Dynamic Label Segment) is a scrolling message that the broadcaster may include in their transmissions.
Signal strength
The display will show a bar to indicate the signal strength.
Programme type
This describes the style of the programme that is being broadcast. If the information is not available, the
display will show “<Prg Type N/A>”.
Audio bit rate
The display will show the digital audio bit rate being received.
Timer status
The display will show the timer on/off status, the timer clock and the timer on mode if the timer has been
activated.
Sleep timer status
The display will show the sleep timer on/off status and the sleep time when the sleep timer is on.
