Connect Peripheral Equipment
Via the Scart
The TV has a
SCART
socket. If you want to
connect peripherals (e.g. video, decoder, etc.)
which have
SCART
sockets to the TV, you can
use
SCART
socket of the TV.
SCART
socket
inputs or outputs signal for external devices.
Connect the
SCART
cable between
SCART
socket on the TV and
SCART
socket on your
external device (such as a decoder, a VCR or a
DVD player).
Note:
If an external device is connected via the
SCART
socket, the TV will automatically
switch to AV mode.
Via Aerial Input
If the device you want to connect does not have
a
SCART
socket, you should connect it to the
AERIAL INPUT
of the TV.
If the device is connected via AERIAL INPUT,
it is suggested to use Programme 0.
Note that better picture quality can be obtained if you
also connect a
SCART
cable to
SCART
sockets.
Via AV Input
Video Input is used for connecting video signals
of external devices. To make a video connection,
connect the video cable between the
VIDEO IN
socket on the TV and the
VIDEO OUT
jack on
your device.
Afterwards, use
AUDIO INPUTS
for connecting
audio signals of external devices. Connect the
audio cable between the
AUDIO INPUTS
on TV
and the
AUDIO OUTPUT
jacks on your device.
After the connection is complete, use
AV/
SOURCE
button on your remote control to switch
to
EXT2
.
Audio Line Out
AUDIO LINE OUTS
output audio signals to an
external device such as an optional sound
system.
To connect the external speakers or similar
devices, to your TV, use
AUDIO LINE OUTS
of
the TV with an audio cable.
Headphones
HEADPHONE
jack is used for connecting an
external headphone to the system.
Connect to the
HEADPHONE
jack to listen to
sound of the TV from headphones (optional).
Note:
If you want to connect more equipment to
your TV, consult your dealer.
