Operation

Pressure Relief Procedure

Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure whenever 
you see this symbol.

1. Press the Stop 

 button on the controller display 

to ensure the PT2020 controller is in an Off state.

2. Close the master pneumatic valve (C).

3. Close the fluid supply valve (P).

4. Bleed the pressure by opening the user-supplied 

fluid pressure relief valve (J).

This equipment stays pressurized until pressure is 
manually relieved. To help prevent serious injury from 
pressurized fluid, such as skin injection, splashing 
fluid and moving parts, follow the Pressure Relief 
Procedure when you are finished operating the pump, 
and before cleaning, checking, or servicing the 
equipment.
