I3; I4 del PLC. The exits Q1; Q2; Q3; Q4, feed the lamps ST1; ST2; ST3; ST4 located
at the end of the outriggers.
At the same time, the 4 contacts NC ST in series close, feeding the relay KA2. The
power for these contacts comes from the cable 14 on the control panel in the basket.
The cable 14 is fed by the circuit board of the load sensor, that controls in advance the
possibility to make the aerial movements. (Attachment 4) The relay KA2 closes the
circuit 8, feeding the electrovalve of the aerial part, and the lamp KL1 for the
stabilized machine on the control panel in the basket (Attachment 3).
4.5.3 Jib
(Attachment 3) If you turn the selector 2 to 120kg, you close the circuit 13 that feeds
KA4. The relay KA4 closes the connection to the JIB electrovalve, energizing it
(Attachment 4).
On the contrary, if you turn the selector to 200kg, you close the contact, feeding the
cable 14. This is interrupted
by the JIB microswitch. In case the jib arm is not closed,
the switch opens taking the feeding away from KA2.
4.6 Emergency descend
(Attachment 3) If you operate the selector 1, SC-EL DIS-EM closes the circuit 11 energizing KA3.
(Attachment 4) KA3 feeds the 3 emergency descend coils, controlled by the fuse F3.
NOTE: The line 11 is directly connected to F1, then the emergency descend always works, even
when the STOP emergency button is activated, unless the key is in the OFF position or F1/F3 are
burned out.
4.7 Load sensor setting
The load sensor is controlled by the electric circuit board located near the basket.
The electronic load sensor mounted on the Gold Lift aerial platform has two checks:
- Zero check when the basket is empty
- Check of the two maximum load limits: the sensor memorizes two critical loads to be added to the
zero load, fixed at the point 1.
Consequently there are two procedures for the load sensor setting.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
before starting any setting actions on the load sensor, check that the
connections: connecting basket / connecting rod and connecting rod / basket support run smoothly,
WITH NO FRICTIONS.
4.5.1 Zero setting
This operation is required when, due to a deformation of the basket or a collision, the load sensor
has lost the zero reference. We recommend always doing this setting before the load setting. (4.5.2)
