DRYING
Selecting the program “DRYING”, the control display screen will appear as shown in the figure.
NB
: with this working program, the pressing of the dead man's lever only brings the squeegee
to the work position (in contact with the floor); the brush head remains in the idle position
(raised from the floor). When the dead man's lever is pressed, both the vacuum motor and the
traction motor are powered.
NB
: on the DS selector, the symbol of the drying program (C) is green.
NB
: the grey symbols show working programs that are not active. the green symbols show
working programs that are active.
NB
: when the dead man's lever is released, the vacuum motor stops with the relative delay.
After the “Reset Delay” time, the squeegee support is taken to its idle position (raised off the
floor). When the dead man's lever is pressed, work will resume with the same working program
and parameters used prior to the stop.

:
if you reverse while this program is active, the squeegee support is taken to its idle
position (raised off the floor) and the vacuum motor is switched off with the relative delay.
The icons that may be visible are:
1. HFM symbol. If visible, it indicates that the “HILLYARD FLEET MANAGEMENT” system is active.
2. HDC symbol. If visible, it indicates that the “HILLYARD DOSING CONTROL” system is active.
3. General alarm symbol.
ATTENTION
: if visible, stop the machine. To continue working, see “ALARM SCREEN”.

Solution tank empty float symbol.
ATTENTION
: if visible, it indicates that the detergent solution in the tank has a reached a level
beyond which the solenoid valve cannot deliver solution onto the brushes, so the tank needs to
be filled up before continuing the work (see “
FILLING THE SOLUTION TANK
”).
5. HEM button.
NB
: if the Eco-Mode button (5) is pressed in transfer mode, the "scrubbing with drying"
program is activated in economic mode.
6. Menu button.
7. Zone button.
NB
: if the Zone button (8) is pressed in transfer mode, the window for selecting the zone opens
(see “
ZONE PROGRAM BUTTON
”). Once you have selected an area, "scrubbing with drying"
is activated for the area selected.
8. Text indicator.
NB
: the text indicator (8) shows which zone program has been selected, or whether the
machine is in transport mode if the word “DRIVE” is visible.
ATTENTION: never switch off the machine with the squeegee in
contact with the floor
ATTENTION: the drying without scrubbing operation should only be
carried out if the device was used beforehand to carry out a scrubbing
without drying operation.
SCRUBBING WITH DRYING
Selecting the program “SCRUBBING WITH DRYING”, the control display screen will appear as shown
in the figure.
NB
: with this working program, the pressing of the dead man's lever brings both the brush
head and the squeegee to the work position (in contact with the floor). When the dead man's
lever is pressed, all the motors are powered. The brush head solenoid valve and the water
system pump are powered up (only if the detergent solution level is not at zero).

: on the DS selector, the symbol of the scrubbing with drying program (D) is green.
