3.3.2 Set Face Thermography
This function is used for measuring the human temperature in optical channel or thermal channel.
In optical channel, the device can detect human face and display the highest temperature. In
thermal channel, the device can measure the body temperature.
Set Parameters in Thermal Channel
Before You Start
Enable Display Temperature Info. on Stream in basic settings.
Steps
1. Go to Configuration → Temperature Screening → Temperature Screening Configuration.
2. Select the thermal channel (Camera 02).
3. Set the information to display on the live view, or on captured pictures triggered by
temperature alarm or face capture alarm.
1) Check Display Temperature to enable the show the measured temperature and the related
information.
2) Check desired information types to display.
Face Frame
A detected human face is shown with a frame around it.
Face Temperature
The highest temperature of the human face is displayed on the image.
Display Face Temperature Position
Show a cursor on the position of the highest temperature.
4. If there is a black body in the scene, Set Black Body Correction to increase measurement
accuracy.
5. Set the temperature compensation for the target. See Set Temperature Compensation for
instructions.
6. Click Save.
7. Refer to Set Arming Schedule for setting scheduled time. Refer to Linkage Method Settings for
setting linkage method.

Steps
1. Go to Configuration → Temperature Screening → Temperature Screening Configuration.
2. Select the optical channel (Camera 01).
3. Check Enable Face Detection to detect human faces, and display the temperature in live view.
