Activating and Accessing to the
Camera
1.1
System Requirement
System requirements of web browser accessing are as follows:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32 bit/64 bit) and above version
CPU: Intel Pentium IV 3.0 GHz or higher
RAM: 1G or higher
Display: 1024 × 768 resolution or higher
Web Browser: Internet Explorer 11 (Win7/Win8/Win10 32 bit), Internet Explorer 10/9/8 (Win7 32 bit),
Mozilla Firefox 30 – 51, and Google Chrome 31 – 44.

Activating the Camera
1.2.1
Setting the Camera over the LAN
Purpose:
To view and configure the camera via the LAN, you need to connect the camera in the same subnet
with your computer, and install the SADP or client software to search and change the IP address of the
camera.
Note:
For the detailed introduction of SADP, refer to Appendix 1.
The following figures show the two ways of cable connection of a camera and a computer:
Purpose:
To test the camera, you can directly connect the camera to the computer with a network cable as
shown in Figure 1-1.
Refer to Figure 1-2 to set the camera over the LAN via a switch or a router.
