2.2.3 Trigger Module
Trigger module is mainly used to trigger signal for the system to start working when vehicle comes
and stop working when vehicle leaves. Two triggering modes are available, and they are inductive
loops and photoelectric sensor.
Figure 2-5
Inductive Loops Mode (Left) and Photoelectric Sensor Mode (Right)
Features of inductive loops mode:
Avoid false triggering problems photoelectric sensor mode may face when exposed to rain,
dust, waste and other outdoors environment
Easier construction at lower cost than photoelectric trigger mode
More stable performance and easier debugging
Features of photoelectric sensor mode:
Modularized design for easy installation and maintenance
Compact size for easy integration
Dual-module design to detect vehicle direction
Wide working temperature, ranging from -25 ºC to +70 ºC
2.2.4 LED Supplement Light Module
There exists one supplement light module at each side of the line scan camera module. Composed
of high-power ultra-bright LED lights, the supplement light modules are mainly used to add light to
vehicle undercarriage to get better imaging effect.
