Modify a User
Step 3
Modify the User Name, Password, and then select User Type.
STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED– We highly recommend you create a strong password of
your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case letters, lower case
letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we
recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the
password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
Step 4
Configure the user permission for the user, including the Basic Permission and Camera
Operation.
Step 5
Click OK to finish the user modification.
13.1.3 Deleting a User
Step 1
Select a user account from the list on the User Information interface to be deleted.
Step 2
Click Delete, and an information box will pop up.
Step 3
Click OK to delete the selected user account.
13.2 Exception
Purpose:
You can specify the linkage action and triggered alarm output for nine exception types.
HDD Full: The HDD is full.
HDD Error: Writing HDD error or unformatted HDD.
Network Disconnected: Disconnected network cable.
