Frequently Asked Questions

Failure: Continuous alarm of the host
Identification: there are open circuit, short circuit and short circuit to ground.
Elimination:

Open circuit of front end: test the loop with a multimeter to determine the failure.

Short circuit of front end: test whether there is a series of short circuits with a
multimeter.
③
Short circuit to ground of front end: test the ground resistance of the loop with a
multimeter (in a relatively humid weather); if the ground resistance is small, there has
a short circuit to the ground.

Failure: Shutdown or non-display of the host
Identification: lower power supply or destroy of the host
Elimination: Check whether the power supply is normal or not. If it is normal, the
host may be destroyed (by high-voltage power supply or lightning), please contact
with our company.

Failure: Alarm of the host, but other alarm equipment not
Identification: failure of other alarm equipment or abnormal alarm of the host
Elimination: test whether the terminals of alarm(on/off) of the host switch normally. If
they are normal, it is caused by the failure of other alarm equipment, otherwise it is
the failure of linkage output module of the host, please contact with our company.

Failure: Abnormal display of the host status bar
Identification: cable leakage or internal fracture of insulated cables leads to the fire or
leakage at the joints of high conductivity wire.
