Chapter 5 Login and Activation
5.1 Access Device via Web Browser
Purpose:
You can get access to the device with a web browser. The recommended web browser includes
Internet Explorer 8 to 11.
Before you start:
Use a network cable to connect Ethernet port of your computer and the Management LAN of
the device.
Configure your computer IP address. Ensure it is in the same network segment with the
Management LAN of the device (the default IP address of Management LAN is
10.254.254.254).
Step 1
Enter the device IP address (https://IP Address:2004) in Web browser.
Step 2
Press Enter. Then login interface appears.

5.2 Activate Device
Purpose:
For the first-time access, you need to activate the device by setting an admin password. No
operation is allowed before activation.
Step 1
Access device via web browser.
Step 2
Enter the same password in Password and Confirm Password.
