Enter super user mode. Type
make
to build driver, then type
make install
to install the driver.

Reboot.
For FreeBSD Users:
1.
Visit
www.highpoint-tech.com

2.
Download the FreeBSD drivers and copy them onto a USB thumb drive.
3.
Mount the USB and extract the drivers, then copy the driver to
/boot/kernel/hptiop.ko.
# tar-zxvf xxx.tgz
# cp hptiop-xxx.ko /boot/kernel/hptiop.ko
4.
To set the drivers to automatically load on startup, type the following command.
# echo ’hptiop_load=”YES”’ >> /boot/defaults/loader.conf
