FUNCTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
CONFIGURATION OF THE TIME DELAY AND PHASE SHIFT
Adjust the time delay (
DELAY
) and phase shift (
PHASE
) according to your needs and the audio components and characteristics of your
vehicle‘s acoustic.
SAVE THE SETTINGS
Now save the setting if required by using
Save
or
SaveAs
on your computer.
TRANSFER OF THE SETTINGS TO THE DSP AMPLIFIER
Save your settings in one of the storage spaces in the DSP as described on page 28.
MODIFY AN EXISTING SETTING
If you want to modify an existing setting, which is already stored on the DSP amplifier, click under
File
on
Read From Device
. For this
you need activate the desired storage space (POS 1 - POS10) before. Save your settings in one of the stoSelect the setting on the remote
controller and activate it (refer to page 25 and 28).
The data is then loaded into the DSP software and can be changed accordingly. You can then save the new setting back to the DSP
amplifier under
File
and
Read From Device
.
Important:
Therefore the enclosed remote controller must necessarily be connected to the DSP amplifier.
CONFIGURATION OF THE EQUALIZERS
Configure the equalizer according to your requirements and listening habits. Please note that you must first select the desired channel or
the desired channel pair (lock symbol) and then change the equalizer setting!
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME LEVEL
Adjust the volume level according to your needs and the audio components and characteristics of your vehicle‘s acoustic.
Please note the following information:

Avoid to increase the volume of an single output channel to raise its level. Reduce instead better the level of the other output
channels.
Warning:
Use this sliders with caution. Too high levels could seriously damage your speakers.
• Slide down the main volume under
MAIN
to -10dB to avoid distortions.
• Play high-quality music on your head unit. Disable all the tone controls of the head unit such as EQ and Loudness and bring balance
and fader to the center position. Now turn the volume controller of the head unit gently to about 80-90% of the maximum volume.
• Now increase the
MAIN
slider in DSP software gradually to a level until some distortion can be heard from the speakers. Then redu-
ce the level slightly until no distortions are audible.
• Under
GAIN
you can lower the level of each output channel (A-H) separately.
