a) Open a browser window and navigate to the Compute Canister BMC IP address.
b) Login to Web UI using the username and password.

Navigate to Maintenance > Firmware Update using the Navigation menu.

Select the checkbox next to Preserve all Configuration.
The Preserve Configuration table will turn gray to display that the configuration will be preserved.
