Repairs
This section describes which repair tasks can be
performed by whom.
NOTICE
During the warranty period, all repairs must be per-
formed by persons authorised by the manufacturer.
Repair by device owner
After the warranty period has elapsed, certain repair
can be carried out by the device owner, provided he
has the necessary skills. HEYLO shall not be liable
for damage caused by such repairs.
If you have any queries concerning the repair of your
device, contact your dealer or the HEYLO service
department.

Decommissioning,
storage and disposal
For the decommissioning, storage and disposal of
the device, observe the following general rules:
These tasks described below may only be carried
out by trained and authorised specialists.
DANGER
Danger to life due to electric shock
Touching electrically live parts can be fatal.
a) Switch off the device and pull out the mains
plug.

Decommissioning
a) Press the ON/OFF button at the control panel.
The display is switched off.
b) Disconnect the power plug.
c) Empty the water tank.
d) Clean the device (see
e) Store the device in a dry room where it is pro-
tected against frost.
The device has been temporarily decommis-
sioned.

Storing the device
Attention
Damage caused by improper storage
If the temperature at the storage place drops below
0 °C, the device might be damaged by frost.
a) Store the device in a dry room and protected
against frost.
The device contains a flammable refrigerant. For
storage, observe the following:
– Store the device in a well-ventilated room meas-
uring at least 4 m
2
.
– Never store the device in a room where there
are ignition sources (naked flames, gas-operated
equipment, electric air heater, etc.).

Disposal
The device is primarily made of recyclable materials.
It does not represent any danger to the operator and
the environment when handled properly.. However,
operation of the device may lead to the generation of
waste and waste water containing harmful and/or
environmentally hazardous substances (air filters
and condensate). These materials must be disposed
of safely in accordance with the regulations.
The individual components of the device (e.g.
pumps, metal components, etc.) must be taken to a
qualified disposal and recycling company. Commis-
sion a qualified, specialist company to dispose of
and recycle the device.
