– Place the INOTEST on the master gauge (Fig. 8).

– Swing the measuring head gently back and forth
until the correct gauging point is found, then set
the dial gauge to zero by rotating the bezel

– Check for correct repetition.
– Slacken the adjustable fixed anvil

instrument on the master gauge and position the
fixed anvil to bring the mobile anvil and the fixed
anvil into contact with the master gauge. Lock
the fixed anvil in this position.
