10 TT90-UPC MODE
Owing to its high precision, but also its resolution to the nanometer, the TESATRONIC TT90
is optimally suited for use in conjunction with the TESA UPC gauge block comparator.
Setting both switches 2 and 3 to OFF will enable you to use the TT90 in the UPC mode.
In this mode, the vacuum pump (03260433) can be controlled over the pin 13 on the
15-pin/f connector. For this purpose, the connecting cable 04761070 is recommended.
Operating cycle of the TT90 in the UPC mode
The Opto-RS cable (04760087) to the RS232 interface is required to ensure full compati-
bility with any software using the RS output available on the earlier TESAMODUL 372. The
interface must be connected to both the PC and bidrectional Opto-RS cable (04761049).
